Sometimes we only need let go of our over-guarding, our excessive fears, and unrelenting tension. Sometimes, we simply need to trust and Surrender to Support and find Freedom there.
In this morning’s practice, we focused on the hips to release excess tension and begin the process of surrender to the support of the earth within and the earth below. Once we can surrender and trust the supports we’re being offered (or are already there), we don’t need to hold on so tightly. We find that we don’t need to guard ourselves so fiercely. Then everything moves just a little more gently. We flow with a little more ease. We find ourselves enfolded in a splash of self-kindness and healing naturally begins.
