Spring Cleaning: Tapas

Tapas: Committed Practice, Discipline, Showing Up.

Our practices and choices in life support the inner fires of our being, our Tejas or Inner Radiance. By practicing Tapas (discipline, commitment, and “showing up”), we nourish this inner fire. We rekindle our weak fires. We soften our out of control fires. We begin to glow with Inner Light and Warmth. We become beacons, little lanterns, and beautiful bonfires.

One way to build up our Tejas is to commit to our “mat practice” (our weekly yoga). Another way is to commit to our “life practice” (showing up to the things that we truly, truly LOVE). Another way is to align with the Sun and allow the brilliant morning Sun to naturally rekindle and rebalance the brilliance of our Inner Flame (we’ll talk more about this in April’s session of the new Living Well Class–see below).

Join us each Monday at 9:30am for live Zoom Yoga. The classes usually start with some of these juicy life nuggets and reflections to cherish and ponder and take off the mat into life. If you can’t make the live time, there’s a recording to watch in your own time and place. This is the PERFECT practice to fit into your perfectly perfect full life. Register below under: workshops. This week’s practice includes a short daily practice.

RSVP HERE for classes with our Trillium Teachers (under Classes), classes with Charlotte (all classes with Charlotte are under Workshops): Managing Hormones with Ayurveda and Yoga comes this month, followed by Skin next month. Pranayama: The Cleansing Practices comes in April (Saturday Workshop).

NEW: Living Well: Practicing Ayurveda meets monthly. We’ll discuss a new topic in Living Well and how to incorporate those practices effectively into our (sometimes very full) lives. There will be a complementary book to go with these classes to help you in your studies and practice!! First session: March 17th at 6pm (hybrid class).
