“Skincare must be good enough to eat.”
Our next in the Ayurveda Studies Series arrives next Saturday March 18th with Skin (you are welcome to watch the recording, but you’ll get the most out of these classed by joining live). We’ll meet on Zoom from 10-noon to explore skin health.
RSVP HERE (under Workshops)

- acne, eczema, and the like…
- dry skin or excessively moist skin
- chronic skin disorders/imbalances
- herbs for the skin
- recipes for the skin (and hair too)
- want to learn how to better care for your skin for its long life
We’ll start with a discussion on skin tissue and function from a western and Ayurvedic perspective. Then we’ll explore ways things in the skin can go “awry” and begin to cause imbalance and problems. We’ll look at how the skin can be insight into what’s going on internally…remember, the body doesn’t lie, so learn to “read” your skin.
We’ll talk about how to eat well and move well for beautiful skin. We’ll explore how best to prepare our skin for the challenges of each season (heat & sun, dry & windy, cold & sharp, and wet & muggy).
Then, we’ll talk about common problems and diseases. We’ll talk about how to manage skin issues. We’ll talk about how to keep our skin healthy and well (sneak peek: cold water plunges are terrible for long term skin wellness). I’ll share some of my favorite skin care recipes(skincare must be good enough to eat).
“The best foundation you can wear is glowing healthy skin.”
Upcoming Intensives include Heart Health, Women’s Health, and the Nervous System. In the Autumn, we’ll explore mental wellness with Ayurveda and the Mind! Details on the Autumn Program will post soon…keep your eyes peeled. Please reach out if you missed a previous class (Bones & Joints, Hormones, Intro to Ayurveda, Ayurvedic Routines, Ayurveda and Digestion) and would like to watch the recording.
