Full Moon: Cold Moon

Elizabeth Ladwig: PURCHASE HERE

This last full moon of the year is officially on Saturday night at 11:37pm, but it may feel like it goes on all weekend and should be extra ‘specially beautiful above some newly fallen snow. It heralds the Longest Night of the Year which joins us on Tuesday. Please reach out if you would like to be on the wait list for Dark Night Yoga at 6pm on Tuesday. And…Full Moon Yogas have returned, the next one is Saturday at 6pm (weather permitting and RSVP required).

Let go. Let go. Let go. Create Space & Begin Anew.

Go outside and enjoy the moon. Right now. Yes, right now. It’s is lovely!! The full moon in December is called the Cold Moon. Need I say more? It’s gifting season. Give yourself, yes yourself, one gift this weekend that will bring you joy. Preferably on Saturday, the official day of the full moon. Yes, now, this weekend, this Saturday! Give yourself a gift of Joy!

If you can’t think of something, here are some ideas: buy yourself a bouquet of spring-like flowers, savor a mug of tea/coffee/hot chocolate, take a bath, make a snow angel, purchase a token to remind you of the gifts of this passing year or to prepare you for a new year of possibilities, stop the clocks and read until you’re tired, go for a walk, write down three dreams for 2022 (let them be wild and crazy, if you like), take a nap, color, create a piece of art for yourself, buy the beautiful photo collage above, set a timer and play on the internet (that site you love, but feel guilty about), make a snow fort, make ice lanterns (no rules or how to’s, just do it–if it’s a disaster, laugh and move on)…the possibilities are endless. How many gifts can you give to yourself today?

Give yourself a gift. Your perfect gift that you can give yourself today. Enjoy and savor treating yourself!

Please: share what you decided to Gift to YourSelf. Please: share some of your dreams and goals for next year. May the new year bring you Utsaha (enthusiasm), Tapas (zest for learning), and Santosha (contentment).

Namaste & BeeWell
