Monday Mantra

A few steps from her book One Degree Revolution (Full Disclosure: I’m making some shifts to her intentions):

  1. Notice what’s happening around you. Notice your desire to pull away from the situation or to unhealthily immerse yourself in the whirlwind.
  2. Connect (I know we’re social distancing). How else can you connect? Connect to your breath; take a deep breath and allow yourself to experience the moment. Bring awareness to your feet on the earth and ground (connect to the earth). Connect with a tree (nature heals and boosts immunity).
  3. Observe your thoughts, feelings, and any internal commentary. “The ability to observe a situation without taking action can be a shift in itself”.
