- Notice what’s happening around you. Notice your desire to pull away from the situation or to unhealthily immerse yourself in the whirlwind.
- Connect (I know we’re social distancing). How else can you connect? Connect to your breath; take a deep breath and allow yourself to experience the moment. Bring awareness to your feet on the earth and ground (connect to the earth). Connect with a tree (nature heals and boosts immunity).
- Observe your thoughts, feelings, and any internal commentary. “The ability to observe a situation without taking action can be a shift in itself”.
