“When you pick up your phone, you pick up everyone else’s agenda.”
I can’t remember who said that. Probably because I was on my phone when I read it. Or in some other way, multitasking. But it’s true. Pay attention next time you pick up your phone and start scrolling.

Your challenge for this week, should you choose to accept it is to NOT pick up your phone, or any other device, until you’ve been up for AT LEAST one hour.

Choose one day (or block of time) this week to de-tech from all technology. Engage in DEAR (drop everything and read) time, go for a walk, garden, clean your car, draw a picture, go to a coffee shop and people watch, visit a bookstore or a museum…go see a play…the opportunities are endless.
You are always welcome to tweak the Challenges to your life. But be honest, if this is TRUE-LY possible. Try it. Notice if your excuse is just that, an excuse. Sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference. Challenges strengthen our willpower. The harder it is, the more strengthening it is.
